The dual-clutch transmission’s performance is leagues ahead of the previous generation \nR-Tronic single clutch automated transmission found in the first generation of R8 (Type 42) and Gallardo. The dual-clutch allows for near-instantaneous, faster than humanly possible shifting. \nSome early iterations of Audi’s dual-clutch transmission can be found in the rally scene. A Quattro S1 was equipped with a dual-clutch transmission to boost loss that resulted from the slow shifts. \nAudi used this tech to win the 1987 rally at the legendary Pikes Peak. Our calibration team at Weistec has carefully designed a TCU tune for your Audi R8 \nType 4S and Lamborghini Huracan to help improve your vehicle's overall performance. Our TCU tune increases software torque limits and operational line pressure to help increase torque capacity and \nimproved shifting speed with a reduced chance of slip. Less slip means less wear and tear on the DCT clutches in your transmission. What does this all mean for you?
